Fribourg-Gotteron 3–2 KalPa Kuopio
Fribourg win on aggregate 4–3 (OT)
120 minutes of play wasn’t enough to decide the winner between Fribourg-Gotteron and KalPa Kuopio, but Fribourg would take the 3-2 victory on Tuesday and the 4-3 victory overall in the Round of 16 to move on to the Quarter-Finals. After just 1:20 of play in the extra period, Yannick Rathgeb would use his lethal backhand to beat Dennis Godla through the legs to win the game and thus move Fribourg on to the next round.

Frolunda Gothenburg 4–1 Eisbaren Berlin
Frolunda win on aggregate 10–2
The damage was mainly done last week, as the Indians entered the ice with a 6-1 aggregate lead which they never looked in danger of losing. They followed it up with a 4-1 win in the return leg to win going away.
HV71 Jonkoping 0–5 Sparta Prague
Sparta win 7–4 on aggregate
Trailing by two goals on aggregate, Sparta Prague went into Jonkoping and beat HV71 5-0 to win in total by three and advance to the Quarter-Finals. Lukas Pech and Andrej Kudrna led the offence with 3 points each and Filip Novotny made 18 saves for the shutout.
Vaxjo Lakers 4–2 SaiPa Lappenranta
Vaxjo win on aggregate 6–5 (OT)
The second contest required overtime, but the Vaxjo Lakers were able to take the two-game series against SaiPa Lappeenranta by a score of 6-5 thanks to a 4-2 overtime victory on Tuesday. At 69:11, Erik Josefsson put an end to Jussi Markkanen’s great 49-save performance by scoring a breakaway goal in overtime, giving Vaxjo the come from behind victory after losing the opening contest.
Vitkovice Ridera Ostrava 3–1 Bili Tygri Liberec
Vitkovice win on aggregate 3–2 (OT)
We knew that one of these teams would become the first Czech team to advance to the CHL Quarter-Finals, and that honour goes to Vitkovice Ridera Ostrava after Radoslav Tybor's breakaway goal in overtime broke the aggregate deadlock against Bili Tygri Liberec. Vitkovice entered the home game trailing by a goal after last week's loss, but Roman Szturc put them ahead with two goals. A late goal from Liberec's Michal Bulir broke Daniel Dolejs's shutout and forced overtime.
JYP Jyvaskyla 3–3 SC Bern
Bern win on aggregate 6–5
Knowing that the first goal in this matchup could prove to be crucial, it was Bern who started the better of the two sides. They scored two goals to lead by three on aggregate, only to see JYP battle back with a couple of goals. They traded late goals to tie the game, but Bern advance.
IFK Helsinki 0–1 Linkoping HC
Linkoping win on aggregate 2–1
Linkoping was hoping the return of Top Scorer Broc Little to the roster would make the top line more effective to finish off the series, and it would be the first group that would make it 1-0 early. IFK Helsinki tried their best to get something past Marcus Hogberg, but the 21-year-old puckstopper shut the door through 60 minutes of play. Even through a flurry of chances in the final two minutes for Helsinki, Hogberg stopped every single shot sent his way. He made 36 saves in a dominant goaltending effort, helping his team win the game and the series in the process.
