With one week left to the Final in the Champions Hockey League, it’s time for the final round in the NordicBet MVP Trophy, the award that honours the most valuable player in the CHL. Europe’s hockey fans have, after a couple of weeks of voting, nominated three finalists that are now fighting for the trophy.

The three remaining players in contention for the NordicBet MVP Trophy, are Ryan Lasch (Frolunda Gothenburg), Sami Aittokallio (Karpat Oulu) and Andres Ambuehl (HC Davos). The final winner will be announced during the CHL Final on 9 February in Oulu between Frolunda and Karpat.
The finalists of the NordicBet MVP Trophy have been elected by thousands of hockey fans after the first selection of five players by the expert jury. Each of the nominee’s votes are now returned to 0 and the final voting of the three remaining players starts over from today. Fans can vote until 7 February at NordicBet’s CHL hub.
Both the hockey fans and the expert jury will choose the final winner, where both parties have equal power of 50 percent each.
The jury consists of Johan Garpenlov, former NHLer and Swedish hockey legend and now an expert at NordicBet, Johan Svensson (aka Mr Madhawk, the biggest hockey blogger in Sweden), Finnish hockey journalist Vesa Rantanen, CHL Sports Director Bo "Kulon" Lennartsson and Magnus Linder, Global Marketing Manager at NordicBet.
For the second consecutive year, sports betting company NordicBet will present the award. NordicBet is also an official partner of the CHL.
