We've been waiting a long time to say this. The CHL is back!

Game Day 1 of the 2021/22 season faces off on Thursday with six exciting games on tap. In the season's opening clash, defending champions Frölunda Gothenburg begin their quest for a fifth European Trophy in the Czech Republic against BK Mladá Boleslav.

Later, Swedish side Rögle Ängelholm make their long-awaited CHL debut, and the Cardiff Devils will also look to maintain the EIHL's fine form at home against German teams when they welcome Adler Mannheim.

There are also blockbuster clashes between Finnish champions Lukko Rauma and Switzerland's Lausanne HC, as well as ZSC Lions Zurich vs. IFK Helsinki.
