The Champions Hockey League (CHL) is launching the CHL Influencer Hub, a new initiative that brings together content creators from across Europe to tell the stories of CHL through authentic and engaging social media content.
Applications are now open until 17 August through the official application form.
Developed in collaboration with influencers and selected CHL clubs, the programme aims to create meaningful connections with new audiences by empowering creators to share their unique perspectives on the CHL experience. While sports and ice hockey creators are naturally encouraged to apply, applicants do not need to focus exclusively on hockey or sports content to be considered.
The CHL Influencer Hub will select one influencer per participating club. Throughout the season, creators will gain access to exclusive experiences and content opportunities, helping to showcase the passion, atmosphere and stories behind European club hockey.
The concept follows successful pilot activations during the 2026 CHL Final and the 2026/27 CHL Draw, where creators generated strong engagement and provided valuable insights into how influencer-led storytelling can enhance fan engagement.
"European club hockey is driven by passionate communities and stories that deserve to be shared"David Nolte, Communication & Digital Media Manager of the Champions Hockey League
"With the Influencer Hub, we want to empower creators to tell those stories in their own authentic way and connect new audiences with the excitement of CHL hockey. We're looking forward to building a strong community of creators around the competition," added David Nolte, Communication & Digital Media Manager of the Champions Hockey League.
Selected influencers will receive a special CHL Influencer Box featuring exclusive goodies and will receive CHF 400 for covering at least one Regular Season game of their club. Additional opportunities are available throughout the season: influencers who continue in the programme will receive media accreditation for the Round of 16, Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals, with an additional CHF 400 compensation per round covered.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5,000 followers and be active primarily on Instagram or TikTok. The key requirement is the ability to create content around at least one CHL Regular Season game involving their club, with additional coverage opportunities available in coordination with the CHL and club representatives.
The CHL Influencer Hub is designed to complement existing media and broadcast coverage by offering behind-the-scenes access, authentic storytelling and a creator-first approach to fan engagement.
Applications are open now and can be submitted until 17 August 2026.
