- can secure 1st place in the group with a win of any kind, with an overtime/shootout loss combined with Liberec taking no more than 2 points, or with a regulation loss combined with a Liberec loss of any kind. The Lakers hold the tie-breaker with Liberec by winning both head-to-head meetings.
Liberec
- can secure advancement with 2 points against HC Davos. If they fail to get that on home ice on Tuesday, they have another shot on Gameday 6 in Davos.
Davos
- need a minimum of 5 points from the two remaining games against Liberec to advance.
- must win in some form in Liberec on Tuesday to stay alive on Gameday 6.
Cardiff
