Bordeaux Boxers
A new face for 2026/27! The new French champions will make their big European debut in the Champions Hockey League later this year and will look to follow in the footsteps of Grenoble and the Rouen Dragons, who have both had memorable moments and results competing across the continent. We can't wait to meet the Bordeaux Boxers!
Red Bull Salzburg
Back for an 11th season of top-level European club ice hockey, Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg are a true icon of the competition. They've made the Semi-Finals before and qualified for the Playoffs in both of their last two CHL seasons. Be sure to keep an eye on Salzburg and their great home support again this year!
Herning Blue Fox
Despite being first-time qualifiers for the Champions Hockey League, Denmark's Herning Blue Fox are a club with proper pedigree. With roots going back all the way to 1947, Herning are the most decorated club in Danish ice hockey history with 17 national championships to their name. They will enter 2026/27 as reigning Danish champions, having just won their first title in 14 years.
SaiPa Lappeenranta
They're back! The resilient Finnish team played two Champions Hockey League seasons in 2014/15 and 2016/17, making it as far as the Quarter-Finals. Confirmed for 2026/27 as third-placed finishers of the regular season of Finland's Liiga, we can't wait to see their iconic yellow and black colours on the European club ice hockey calendar again. See you soon!
Bílí Tygři Liberec
Veterans of five past Champions Hockey League seasons, previous Semi-Finalists of Europe's biggest club ice hockey competition Bílí Tygři Liberec are back! As third-placed finishers in the competitive Extraliga, they've proven they are ready to take on Europe's best once again. Can't wait to welcome you back come September!
Eisbären Berlin
From sixth place in the Regular Season to being crowned German champions for a third time in a row, Eisbären Berlin have defied the odds and expectations and will rightfully take their place among Europe's elite clubs later this year. The DEL champions are always a favourite in the CHL and Berlin will look to come back strong after an unusually disappointing European season in 2025/26 that saw them finish 22nd and miss the Playoffs entirely. What a year!
