Djurgården Stockholm are potentially two games away from their first ever Champions Hockey League Grand Final, with a Semi-Final matchup against Mountfield HK being the only thing stopping them from progressing at the moment.
They’ve had some impressive performances up and down the roster throughout the campaign so far, but perhaps none better than defenseman Olle Alsing who has been solid defensively, but had a huge contribution to the offensive side of the game so far for his side. No defenceman in the competition has outscored the 23-year-old Swede who comes into the Semi-Finals with 14-points in 10 games that includes 11 assists.
He’s shown potential in his young career so far in Sweden, but this year has really been a breakout year for the defenseman, as he’s elevated his game to a new level with his offensive output being the main highlight of his continuous improvement. If he can continue his impressive contributions to his team over the next two games, then he could play a huge part in guiding Djurgården to their first ever CHL final.
