The Champions Hockey League Quarter-Finals are here! All four First Games will be played tonight, followed by the Return Games next Tuesday.
The score over the two games is combined to create the aggregate score which determines which team will advance to the next round.
Here's what to look forward to tonight:
Tappara Tampere and the Rouen Dragons, both making their debut in this phase of the tournament, will face each other at 18:00 in Finland.
As will Rögle Ängelholm who travel to Prague to face the last remaining Czech Extraliga team in the Quarter-Finals - Sparta Prague. The game in Sparta's home arena, the Tipsport Arena, is also scheduled to start at 18:00.
The third game scheduled to start at 18:00 is a clash of two familiar foes - Lukko Rauma host Red Bull Munich in Finland, just like they did back in the 2015/16 Round of 32. The Finns beat the DEL side both home and away back then - will their fortunes be different this time around?
Rounding out the First Game action is a clash of two SHL clubs at 19:00, as newcomers Leksands IF face-off against reigning CHL Champions Frölunda Gothenburg.
Here’s what’s coming up today (all times CET):
18:00 Tappara Tampere vs Rouen Dragons
18:00 Sparta Prague vs Rögle Ängelholm
18:00 Lukko Rauma vs Red Bull Munich
19:00 Leksands IF vs Frölunda Gothenburg
