We’ve seen some incredible games and performances across the opening four Game Days of the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League season, but three teams have pushed the boundaries as far as possible, ending the first two weeks of pan-European club ice hockey action unbeaten and with their places in the upcoming CHL Playoffs already secured.

Of course we're talking about Swedish side Skellefteå AIK, German side Kölner Haie and Czech side HC Pilsen. Take a look through these three quick galleries to find out more about their exceptional runs so far!

HC Pilsen

HC Pilsen have hit the ground running on their return to the pan-European club ice hockey stage, picking up four back-to-back wins to end Game Day 4 at the very top of the Regular Season Standings!

The Czechs have beaten a former CHL Champion in Rögle Ängelholm, the reigning Polish and Swiss champions - GKS Tychy and Fribourg-Gottéron - and also current French champions the Bordeaux Boxers!

Their most recent game against Bordeaux was something completely incredible, as Pilsen scored 10 GOALS, including six in the final period, to record the highest-scoring game of the season so far.

Skellefteå AIK

Skellefteå AIK are unbeaten in four games of the 2026/27 CHL season and havnen't dropped a single point so far!

The past CHL Finalists started their season with a 6-1 win over Slovak champions HK Nitra before dispatching Adler Mannheim in the SAP Arena in what was a heated duel in Germany.

On Game Day 3 they played a rematch of the 2024 CHL Final which they lost 2-3 - this time they flipped the score to beat Genève-Servette 3-2! Game Day 4 saw them beat HC Davos 6-2 in a clash of two unbeaten teams so far.

Kölner Haie

Also unbeaten, but with one dropped point, Kölner Haie started their return season to the CHL stage on the road, picking up wins against Salzburg and an OT win against past CHL Champions Tappara.

Their first home game of the season in the LANXESS Arena was simply amazing. Die Haie filled it to the roof with 18,104 spectators in the building to watch them beat Frölunda 5-2.

A 3-1 win over KAC Klagenfurt on Game Day 4 saw the Germans secure their place among the very best of the season so far - what a comeback to the European stage!
