It's time to find out who makes this season's CHL Final! It doesn't get better than this so sit back and prepare for two HUGE Champions Hockey League games with this Semi-Finals Return Games Preview.
Lukko Rauma vs. Genève-Servette ended in a 2-2 draw in Switzerland last week and these two powerhouses will go at each other again - this time in Finland. Their Return Game starts at 17:30 CET and if their earlier encounters this season (don't forget they also faced off on Game Day 6 where Lukko took a 3-2 win in the Kivikylän Areena, the venue of this all-determining Return Game) are anything to go by, we've got a lot to look forward to.
Last week's 4-2 win put Skellefteå AIK in a nice position heading home for their second clash with Vítkovice Ridera. Their 19:00 CET game will see the Czechs try and knock back that two-goal deficit as they eye a place in the final round, while home team Skellefteå need to keep it together to make that final step without any drama. Aggregate Score
The Semi-Finals, just like the Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals, are played in a home-and-away, two-game series format and are decided on combined aggregate score of the First and Return Game. Overtime and shootouts are used in the Return Game if the aggregate score is tied after regulation.
Overtime is played 10-minute sudden-death, 3-on-3. The team that score the first goal are declared the winner of the series. Should no goals be scored, a shootout (five shooters each team) will determine who advances to the next round.
