GKS Tychy forward Michael Tychy has been voted as having scored the best goal in the 2018/19 Champions Hockey League.

Cichy's goal against Bolzano scooped the award in a public, online vote, beating Rouen's Nicholas Deschamps in the final round of voting. Eight goals were shortlisted.

The goal was also very significant for GKS during their Group Stage game against the Foxes, as it put the Polish side 2-1 ahead in a fixture they'd eventually win 5-3 - and become the first team from their country to win in the CHL!
