The past few seasons in Wales have been special from an ice hockey point of view. Under new owners, the Cardiff Devils have been transformed and are now again one of the top teams in British ice hockey.
But before then it wasn't all plain sailing. The team played for nearly 10 years in a temporary rink in Cardiff Bay before moving into the brand new Ice Arena Wales in 2016 and hadn't collected a league or playoff trophy since 1999. Last season they won the Elite League regular season, Challenge Cup, and were play-off runners-up and this year in the Champions Hockey League the Devils got their first win, beating HC Davos 4-3 in OT.
We take a closer look at the Devils' recent journey to get them back to the top of British hockey.
