No new teams earned a place in the 2020/21 Champions Hockey League this past weekend, but we could have some new teams qualifying in the next seven days.
If you're looking for an earlier qualifier this week, then keep your eyes on the Swiss National League. EV Zug, who have been in every season of the CHL since 2014, are in pole position to make sure they're in next season's competition. The league leaders have already clinched a playoff place. Three points behind them are ZSC Lions, whose return to the CHL could also happen this week. HC Davos in third are leading the chase for a third CHL place this week.
DEL leaders Red Bull Munich could qualify for next season's competition as early as Friday with Germany now having four places in the 2020/21 season.
Bili Tygři Liberec lead the way in the Czech Republic, who are now down to three place for next season. If they can keep up their form down this final stretch of the season they should qualify for the CHL, but it may take a few more game days to confirm it.
Red Bull Salzburg already clinched the first of Austria's three places in the CHL by winning the Regular Season. In the pick round they lead the way by some distance but 2018/19 Round of 16 side HC Bolzano currently lead the charge behind them. Remember, if Red Bull win this stage as well then the next CHL place goes to the Runner's Up of this stage.
