We have eight teams already qualified for the 2019/20 Champions Hockey League - but that means another 24 places are yet to be decided.

Czech Republic could see its first CHL qualifier for 2019/20 this weekend, although things remain very tight. Bílí Tygři Liberec lead the 52-round Extraliga by five points with seven games to go - HC Pilsen and Mountfield HK leading the chase to knock them off that spot and secure the President's Trophy for themselves.

Kärpät Oulu secured their place from Finland's Liiga, which only has four spots in total for next season's competition. TPS Turku are nine points clear in second, but with some 30 points still up for grabs things could still change. Tappara Tampere and Lukko Rauma, both with previous CHL history, follow in places three to four.

Switzerland gained and extra place for next season based on the CHL League Ranking, and has two teams confirmed for 2019/20 already in EV Zug and SC Bern, but with Lausanne and Langnau Tigers split by only a point, we'll have to wait a few more Game Days to see where the next places will go. 

Adler Mannheim and Red Bull Munich have already taken two of the DEL's three places in the 2019/20 Campions Hockey League, meaning Germany will have to wait until the playoffs to find out its next qualifier; while in Sweden, 10 points separating the top five with as many games to go means it's too tight for anyone to have qualified from the league yet.

Austria's EBEL Pick Round continues, with seven games left to go. As Graz have already qualified by winning the Regular Season, the CHL place will go to the runner-up in this round if the 99ers also top the middle stage.

The Challenger Leagues, with the exception of the UK, all have their CHL participants as their national champions, so will have to wait until the playoffs to see how they will be.
