If HC Pilsen are to repeat their run deep into the Champions Hockey League Playoffs as they did last season, then they'll have to do something that they've only managed to do once in three attempts this time around - win away in regulation.

The Czech side head to face Lausanne HC trailing 2-1 on aggregate from the First Leg. This means that Pilsen will have to win by a goal in 60 minutes to force overtime at least; any bigger margin will see them go through, while a draw or win for Lausanne will put the Swiss through to their first CHL Quarter-Finals.

Lausanne beat EHC Biel-Bienne 3-2 at home before going down 2-1 to Ambrì-Piotta in overtime on their return to National League action. LHC sit fourth overall.

Pilsen had a mixed weekend back in their own league, beating western rivals Karlovy Vary 4-3 on Friday night before going down by the same scoreline in Mlada Boleslav two days later. That game was remarkable for Milan Gulaš giving them the lead with 20 seconds to go, before Boleslav struck back 10 seconds later! They are third in the Extraliga but do have games in hand.
