JYP have already secured their place in the next round and need at least a single point from their last game in Grodno to clinch top spot in Group C. However, against a Neman squad that is always tough to beat at home, that may be easier said than done.
Last week in Jyväskylä, JYP won in a shootout 3-2. Not bad for JYP, but forward Robert Rooba believes his team could be better. "We need to find our rhythm into our game. At times, we gave up on that and the other team used that to their advantage. We should just play our own game."
As for Neman, the loss eliminates them from the possibility of advancing further in the tournament, but that won’t dampen the enthusiasm of the Grodno fans or the home team, which will want to finish the competition with a win. To do that, according to forward Artyom Kisly, “We need to score more goals. We had a lot of good chances to score, but we need to take better advantage of our scoring chances."
