After a narrow loss to the defending champions in Gothenburg last week, the KAC return to home ice knowing anything they can take against the Swedish side will go a long way to helping them make the next round.
"Obviously we lost the last game, so we weren't happy because it's a loss," assistant coach Christoph Brandner said about the narrow 2-1 loss in Gothenburg. "But the performance was absolutely positive. I think we surprised Frölunda a little bit."
"We were a bit slow for the first two periods against Klagenfurt, but in the third, the guys took over the game and got the three points," added Roger Rönnberg, Indians' head coach.
