Växjö Lakers will qualify for the Round of 16 with a regulation win if Davos don't beat Cardiff; while Bílí Tygři Liberec could be only a point ahead of the Swiss they lose and HCD take a win.

Such is the tightness of this group that the Lakers came through a though test at home to Davos two nights ago. "It was a good game, very back and fourth," said Joel Persson of the last game. "When we go the puck deep we owned the game, so we have to get it deep to get things going and build pressure."

"We had a bad start, took  lot of penalties, but managed to tie the game and showed the strong side of our team," said Filip Pesan about the Cardiff game. "We'll see what happens in Sweden."
