- Yunost must win to stay alive in Group B
- Belarussians will need first ever CHL away
- TPS in good domestic form, hoping to help Finland overall
While TPS Turku can’t advance to the next round, Yunost Minsk arrive in Finland knowing they simply have to win to stay alive - although could be eliminated by other results going against them.
The Finns have failed to live up to promise despite youngster Kaapo Kakko being a highlight in earlier games, and again find themselves not going into the playoffs. In their own league however it’s been a different story, two points off the lead after 10 games has them in a great position early on.
Yunost need a win and Malmö to lose in Munich to stay alive, but have never managed a road win in the Champions Hockey League. 11 wins from 11 games however in their own domestic championship should see them head north with some confidence - averaging almost five goals a game, and just one against. Andrei Antonov and Mihail Stefanovich have been helping themselves to points in Belarus, with 16 and 14 respectively.
