The Champions Hockey League starts fro Red Bull Munich on home ice against Yunost Minsk.
Belarusian teams have been hard to beat on their own ice in the CHL so far, but have then also been notoriously bad on the road as well. The Red Bulls are no stranger to the CHL having reached the Round of 16 last year, and avoided a potential first game banana skin against Comarch Cracovia 12 months ago.

Yunost Minsk on the other hand made the first playoff round when they took part two years ago, but only picked up one point away from home. The Continental Cup winners did however prove they can beat foreign opposition outside of Belarus on their way to winning that competition last season,
