Heading into Gameday 6, the Växjö Lakers have a 1-point lead over Bílí Tygři Liberec and also hold the tiebreaker from winning both head-to-head meetings, so to top the group the White Tigers must overtake the Lakers completely. In the bottom half of the group, the Cardiff Devils enter play with a 2-game winning streak and although they can't advance, a third-straight win and finishing 3rd in the group would be a real coup for the Welshmen.
