- Two points (1G+1A) for Joona Ikonen

Ilves Tampere welcomed Dynamo Pardubice back to the Champions Hockey League with a 3-1 ousting in front of the Czech team's home fans. The Finns dominated the scoreboard the entire game, never once being threatened.
The first period played out rather calmly with the scoreboard changing only once in the visitor’s favour. Both teams received two-minute penalties in the seventh minute keeping the game at equal strength. Joona Ikonen scored the first goal of Ilves’s CHL season at 8:07 after finding himself alongside Mathias Mantikyvi in a two-on-one opportunity they confidently took advantage of.
The away team’s defenceman Les Lancaster was called for stick holding at 11:44 which did not come without a agitated response from the home team and crowd, resulting in a roughing penalty for Pardubice’s Robert Kousal.
The second goal of the game came nearly six minutes into the second period when Oula Palve made his way past the home team’s defence with ease and attempted to score. The shot was deflected but found its way onto Samuli Ratinens hockey stick. His shot found the back of the net and sent the visitors into a 2-0 lead.
The fast-paced second period became very heated, which had the consequence of a roughing call for both sides, often breaking up play. Despite chances, neither team was able to utilise their powerplays.
The start of the third period was more successful for the away team, but a hooking call at 43:45 sparked Pardubice's comeback attempt. Lukáš Radil was able to get the home on the scoreboard for the very first time in the game after a successful face-off at 46:48.
Unfortunately for Pardubice, David Musil was called for tripping which offered Ilves another powerplay - this time they utilised it and gained back their two-goal buffer. The home team didn’t have any luck getting back into the game, despite many great attempts.
With the score locked at 3-1 the final buzzer sounded, with Ilves taking three important points into the Regular Season Standings.
