Game Day 4 of the 2026/27 season of the Champions Hockey League gave us this wild high-scoring match-up that saw HC Pilsen weather a chaotic back-and-forth battle against the Bordeaux Boxers before exploding for double digits in a dominant offensive play.

Pilsen’s Dominik Simon opened the scoring late in the first period before the game descended into chaos in the middle and third frame. Bordeaux answered fiercely right from the start with a powerplay strike from Luke Santerno, erasing the lead of the Czechs.

Pilsen’s Mikko Artturi Petman then converted on a man-advantage to push Pilsen back in front, only for Bordeaux’s Enzo Carry to tie it up again. Carry followed with another, gaining Bordeaux a one-goal advantage against the Czechs, but Pilsen refused to give up, netting twice courtesy to Matyáš Filip and Ville Emil Petman, who struck with a mere second remaining on the clock.

After the second intermission, Pilsen picked up the action again finding the back of the net three times in just over a minute – Igor Merezhko, Christophe Lalancette and Ville Emil Petman being the goal scorers. After that, Bordeaux opted for a change between the pipes, shaking things up with a goaltender swap, but it quickly became clear that the goaltending wasn’t the issue as Pilsen just kept on rolling.

Lalancette kept the onslaught going by netting his second of the night. Jakub Lev soon buried Pilsen’s ninth goal before Ondřej Rohlík capped off the scoring with a double-digit exclamation point. Somewhere between Lalancette’s and Lev’s goal, Bordeaux managed to squeeze in one of their own, making the final score 4-10.

Pilsen end the September portion of CHL games unbeaten and already qualified for the Playoffs following this crazy away win in France.
