In a battle between the backstops, it was Dynamo Pardubice claiming their second shutout with a 1-0 win over Rögle Ängelholm. Tomáš Dvořák scored the lone goal as the Czechs have yet to allow a goal this season.

Pardubice's Roman Will was definitely the busier of the two netminders as the Swedes peppered him with 15 shots through the first 20 minutes, but both backstops remained spotless as the clubs headed into their respective locker rooms tied at 0-0. 

Dvořák finally broke the deadlock at 35:18 with a shot from the blueline that found its way past Calle Clang. Some low-to-high passing found its way to Dvořák who managed to corral the puck and flutter it around a defender and towards the net as it beat an unsuspecting Clang.

The Swedes made several attempts to tie it in the third, but Roman Will was on point making several timely saves, including a breakaway opportunity late in the frame. Rögle made a last-ditch effort, pulling their netminder in favour of the extra attacker, but the Czech netminder never budged as Pardubice held on to earn three more all-important points.
