- Petr Straka & Petr Kodýtek: 3 points each for Pilsen
- Juha-Pekka Hytönen & David Tomášek: 1 goal each for JYP
- Pilsen lead Group H with 9 points, JYP have 3
HC Pilsen remain perfect after three games and now find themselves on the brink of advancement after a convincing 6-2 victory in Jyväskylä. Conversely, the defending European champions now find themselves in trouble after losing their second straight game to Pilsen.
Ondřej Kratěn got things started for Pilsen just 42 seconds in with a pretty forehand deke, but JYP captain Juha-Pekka Hytönen evened it back up just 1:06 later on a one-timer. Two minutes later, Pilsen went back up on a controversial goal, where Miroslav Indrák’s shot from the right wing went top corner on Eetu Laurikainen and quickly back out. The referee signalled a goal, which was upheld under video replay.
Pilsen added two more before the end of the first period and two more in the second. Laurikainen was lifted in favour of Joona Voutilainen at 22:49 after allowing five goals on 11 shots. David Tomášek got a late goal for JYP with 1:01 to play, but the game had long since been decided by that point.
