In a remarkable feat, Rögle Ängelholm played their fourth fixture with a shutout result as they blanked Tappara Tampere 4-0 to fetch their second win of the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League season.

The Swedes secured two tallies on six shots in the first to take a two-goal lead into the middle frame.

Filip Johansson took the puck through neutral ice before skating right down Main Street and wristing it past Juha Metsola for his second of the season. Joel Kellman added to his club's advantage with just over a minute to play in the stanza when he wired one over the glove.

Then in the second, Rögle did something spectacular and scored twice in the span of 19 seconds. Luboš Horký fired one in from the far dot over Metsola's glove, and then Oskar Jellvik made it 4-0 when a backhand shot from Ludvig Claesson banked off of him and into the net. Claesson took control of the puck, powered his way behind the net and then flung a backhander that caught Jellvik who was battling for position in the crease.

As the clock wound down in the third, Tappara didn't do themselves any favours as the hosts hemmed them into their own zone for long stretches. Consequently, the Finns failed to generate offence of any kind as Rögle went on to orchestrate their second shutout in as many games.
