Now's the final chance for teams to shape the Regular Season Standings and either make the Playoffs altogether or move into a more favourable position in the standings, as valuable points are up for grabs on the final day of action in the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League Regular Season. Here's a full preview!
The Wednesday action will start at 17:30 CEST when SaiPa Lappeenranta welcome HC Pilsen to Finland.
19:00 CEST will see a duo of national-champion clashes as Norwegian champions Storhamar Hamar and Graz99ers lock horn, while Danish champions Herning Blue Fox will welcome Fribourg-Gottéron for a heated final CHL game of the season in Denmark.
Eisbären Berlin will travel to Austria to face KAC Klagenfurt at 19:30 CEST while a duo of games played in Switzerland at 19:45 will bring the 2026/27 Regular Season to a grinding halt when HC Davos face Bílí Tygři Liberec in our Spotlight Game of the round, whereas Genève-Servette will take on the mighty Kölner Haie in the Patinoire des Vernets. Don't miss these two epic games!
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more clubs are tied in points during or after the conclusion of the Regular Season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:
- Greater number of wins in regulation time (3-point wins)
- Greater number of wins in total (regulation time wins (W) + overtime and shootout wins (OTW))
- Better goal difference (GDF)
- More goals scored (GF)
- Greater number of points in away games (APTS)
- More away goals scored (AGF)
- The higher position in the CHL Draw pot allocation
The tie-breaking formula also applies in the overall accumulated team record. For clarity: In case two teams are still tied after the 6th tie-breaker, the higher position in the CHL Draw pot allocation for the current season will decide the position in the overall standings.
